Last year I decided that I will miss Advent in Prague. and I'll go out into the heat. No frosts, no stress, just disappear for three whole weeks and not come back until Christmas Eve. I combined business with pleasure and set off for a language course in Barbados. How did I spend these three weeks?
Morning drill and shopping in St. Lawrence Gap
My vacation in Barbados has just entered its second half, and I realized that in addition to the knowledge I gained from school, I also wanted to take something home as a souvenir.
As soon as my morning classes were over, I headed to St. Lawrence Gap in the Christ Church area. This is the second time. It's about kilometer-long street, which pulsates with the rhythm of reggaeton at night, but during the day it is a pleasant oasis with shops.
He had a clear goal: to get magnets. But at the first shop, the salesman immediately threw the price at me. 8 US dollars per piece. The truth is, I'm no Rockefeller to give two hundred for one, so I said thank you and moved on to the next house.
At least I got some postcards and a magnet for $5 at the next store and then I went straight to the beach. It's right next door.
