The procedure for this quick trip to Malm\u00f6 is completely primitive:<\/p><ul data-path-to-node=\"16\"><li><p data-path-to-node=\"16,0,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"16,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Buy a ticket at the hall:<\/b> You can buy a train ticket to Malm\u00f6 from a machine right in the airport arrivals hall. You can easily recognize the machine, it has the Swedish flag on it.<\/p><\/li><li><p data-path-to-node=\"16,1,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"16,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">You&#039;re not planning anything complicated:<\/b> Trains run every 20 minutes, so you just walk up to the platform and get on. When you buy your ticket, the machine will show you when the next train is leaving.<\/p><\/li><li><p data-path-to-node=\"16,2,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"16,2,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Enjoy the view:<\/b> You get on, cross a monumental bridge with a great view of the sea, and shortly after you get off at Malm\u00f6 Central Station. Our first stop was the main square <b data-path-to-node=\"19\" data-index-in-node=\"116\">Stortorget<\/b>. Here you won&#039;t miss the majestic historic town hall (<b data-path-to-node=\"19\" data-index-in-node=\"178\">City Hall<\/b>).<\/p><p data-path-to-node=\"20\">Just behind her rises <b data-path-to-node=\"20\" data-index-in-node=\"25\">St. Petri Church<\/b> \u2013 a giant Gothic church from the 14th century, which is the oldest building in the city. We looked at both places from the outside, took photos and continued on.<\/p><p data-path-to-node=\"21\">We moved to another lively square <b data-path-to-node=\"21\" data-index-in-node=\"40\">Gustav Adolfs Square<\/b>, which is dominated by a wonderful fountain. An ideal spot to stop for a moment and just soak up the city&#039;s relaxed atmosphere.<\/figcaption>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/figure>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-77178a5 e-con e-atomic-element e-flexbox-base e-3a314d3\" data-id=\"77178a5\" data-element_type=\"e-flexbox\" data-e-type=\"e-flexbox\" data-interaction-id=\"77178a5\">\n    \t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f74a382 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"f74a382\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Through the green heart of the city to the windmill and fortress<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c490ed9 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"c490ed9\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p data-path-to-node=\"25\">From the square we took it through the old city cemetery <i data-path-to-node=\"25\" data-index-in-node=\"51\">The Old Cemetery<\/i>, which locals use more as a quiet park for walks. From here you can easily reach the giant park <b data-path-to-node=\"25\" data-index-in-node=\"171\">Castle Park<\/b>. If you love peace and nature, this place will absolutely delight you. We walked around the picturesque lakes, canals and water bodies that crisscross the park.<\/p><p data-path-to-node=\"26\">The road led us to <b data-path-to-node=\"26\" data-index-in-node=\"24\">Slottsm\u00f6lle<\/b> \u2013 a beautiful historic Dutch-style windmill that looks like it&#039;s straight out of a fairy tale.<\/p><p data-path-to-node=\"27\">Right next to it is the main destination of our lightning route: <b data-path-to-node=\"27\" data-index-in-node=\"59\">Malm\u00f6hus Castle<\/b>. It is the oldest preserved Renaissance fortress in the Nordic countries, which is completely surrounded by a moat. We quickly bought typical Swedish souvenirs, bought a ticket back to Denmark in the machine at the station, and boarded the first train that passed by.<\/p><p data-path-to-node=\"32\">In less than 30 minutes we were safely back at Copenhagen airport, passed through security and flew home to Prague with smiles on our faces.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-fcce8a3 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"fcce8a3\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">My final recommendation<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e3482f0 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"e3482f0\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>If you have a stopover at Copenhagen airport at least <b data-path-to-node=\"35\" data-index-in-node=\"45\">3 to 4 hours<\/b>, don&#039;t hesitate and go to Sweden. The journey itself will take you about an hour and Malm\u00f6 is so incredibly compact that you can walk the main part of the city center completely comfortably and without stress.
