I combined business with pleasure and set off <strong>for a language course in Barbados<\/strong>. How did I spend these three weeks?<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6506edb elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"6506edb\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">It&#039;s best not to plan.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e19c99f elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"e19c99f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p data-path-to-node=\"3\">My sixteenth day in Barbados was spent in the spirit of <strong>complete peace<\/strong> and discovering beaches that were still missing from my itinerary. After a busy weekend, I just needed to switch off, leave my worries behind and enjoy the real thing<strong> travel<\/strong> without big plans.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6b8f99d elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"6b8f99d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Searching for a secret beach paradise<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d692b31 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"d692b31\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p data-path-to-node=\"2\">As soon as school was over, I hailed a taxi and took myself to downtown Bridgetown. I walked past the parliament buildings and National Hero Square, where history breathes in, and then I turned toward the coast. I wanted to explore <strong>west side<\/strong>, which I have only passed by so far.<\/p><p data-path-to-node=\"3\">Besides being a bustling city, Bridgetown hides right next to the harbor<strong> three interesting beaches<\/strong>. Each one is different and here are my experiences from exploring them:<\/p><ul data-path-to-node=\"4\"><li><p data-path-to-node=\"4,0,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"4,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Brandons Beach:<\/b> It&#039;s the first beach after the harbor, about a kilometer long. It&#039;s beautiful, with clear water, but the giant cruise ships in the background spoil the feeling of wilderness a bit.<\/p><\/li><li><p data-path-to-node=\"4,1,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"4,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Brighton Beach:<\/b> This beach is famous for its proximity to Stade&#039;s West Indies Rum Distillery. It&#039;s very wide, the sand is soft, and locals love it for morning swims.<\/p><\/li><li><p data-path-to-node=\"4,2,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"4,2,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Paradise Beach:<\/b> The absolute winner of the day. As the name suggests, it&#039;s paradise. No hotels, no noise, just you and the sea.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-path-to-node=\"5\">The funny thing is that on Brighton Beach <strong>you can smell the rum straight from the distillery<\/strong>, which is fitting for a Caribbean vacation, but I was looking for more isolation. Paradise Beach was exactly what I needed. There used to be a luxury hotel here, but now it&#039;s just peace and beautiful nature.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-539ffad elementor-widget__width-initial elementor-widget elementor-widget-video\" data-id=\"539ffad\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-settings=\"{&quot;youtube_url&quot;:&quot;https:\\\/\\\/youtube.com\\\/shorts\\\/oZQau1TQ_4s?feature=share&quot;,&quot;video_type&quot;:&quot;youtube&quot;,&quot;controls&quot;:&quot;yes&quot;}\" data-widget_type=\"video.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-wrapper elementor-open-inline\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-video\"><\/div>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d936def elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"d936def\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Why is Paradise Beach the real Caribbean?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-29c6905 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"29c6905\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p data-path-to-node=\"7\">This place is opposite the busy center <strong>an oasis of peace<\/strong>. I spent the whole afternoon there and there were no more than five people around me. The sea is here <strong>calm, turquoise, warm<\/strong> and if you want, you can also find shade under the tall trees that line the shore.<\/p><p data-path-to-node=\"8\">I completely forgot about the time here. When the sun indicated that it wanted to go to sleep, I also set off on my way back to Oistins. I reached the road, found the To City stop (right) and after a while I heard the rumble of bass. The one arrived <strong>legendary yellow reggae bus<\/strong>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-8d9bf2c elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"8d9bf2c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">The journey back to the rhythm of reggae<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f3adb2e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"f3adb2e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p data-path-to-node=\"10\">These buses are an experience in themselves. They are packed to the brim, the music is so loud it makes your insides vibrate, but it has an incredible energy. I squeezed in among the locals and enjoyed the twenty-minute ride into the city center.<\/p><p data-path-to-node=\"11\">I have to admit that after a day of lazing in the sun, the ride really woke me up. From Bridgetown, I took a classic white ZR taxi to Oistins. My <b data-path-to-node=\"11\" data-index-in-node=\"167\">holiday<\/b> The island continues to have the best rhythm and I&#039;m looking forward to what tomorrow brings.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4f55764 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\"
