I combined business with pleasure and set off <strong>for a language course in Barbados<\/strong>. How did I spend these three weeks?<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6506edb elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"6506edb\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Expedition to Saint Lawrence Gap<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e19c99f elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"e19c99f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p data-path-to-node=\"5\">On my first night in Barbados, I realized that <strong>There&#039;s absolutely no peace and quiet here.<\/strong>. I found out that they don&#039;t intend to comply with it. <strong>frogs<\/strong> \u2013 <strong>Antillean whistling ducks<\/strong>. Their name really does match the reality. They are small, but they still sound almost like <strong>started circular saw<\/strong>, that can scream all night long. <strong>I wish I had that kind of stamina too.<\/strong>.<\/p><p data-path-to-node=\"6\">Plus, the heat added to the situation.<\/p><p data-path-to-node=\"7\">But I still felt quite fresh in the morning. She was waiting for me at home. <strong>prepared breakfast<\/strong>, so I had a few words with Ricky and Kaya and headed out. It would have been a shame to stay home.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d936def elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"d936def\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Ten kilometers in the Caribbean heat<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-29c6905 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"29c6905\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p data-path-to-node=\"9\">It&#039;s Monday,<strong> public holiday<\/strong>, so I don&#039;t have to go to school. That&#039;s why I came up with &quot;\u201e<strong>a walk<\/strong>\u201c&quot;. It was thirty degrees outside, the sun was beating down on my head, and I headed for the coast.<\/p><p data-path-to-node=\"10\">First I took it over the cliff <strong>Enterprise Cliff<\/strong>, then around <strong>Miami Beach<\/strong>. I just glanced at the beach and kept going. The road led through <strong>Oistins<\/strong> and then past other beautiful beaches. Finally I arrived at <strong>Saint Lawrence Gap<\/strong>.<\/p><p data-path-to-node=\"10\">I had found out that it was <strong>a neighborhood that really lives<\/strong> and is full of tourists, stalls and shops. However, it <strong>not valid on holidays<\/strong> and it was morning. When I arrived, there was a<strong> peace<\/strong> and there was not a single foot anywhere. That&#039;s why I just walked around, looked around and had a bite to eat at an open bistro by the beach. <strong>lunch<\/strong>. I ordered fried chicken strips and fries for 15 US dollars. Not a great gastronomy, but in that heat it was more than enough.<\/p><p>Afterwards I walked <strong>along the beach<\/strong> and set off back. I must say that the journey back was <strong>quite a feat<\/strong>. Sunshine <strong>it was burning more and more<\/strong> and walking a total of almost 5 kilometers each way was a pretty solid feat in this heat.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-8d9bf2c elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"8d9bf2c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">First afternoon at the beach<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-635118e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"635118e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p data-path-to-node=\"13\">I finally got back to Oistins and stuck it out on the beach <strong>Miami and Enterprise Beach<\/strong>. To be on the safe side, I strategically lay down in the shade so I wouldn&#039;t get burned on the first day. The rest of the afternoon I just took turns <strong>rolling in the sand and swimming<\/strong>. The Caribbean Sea is <strong>incredibly warm<\/strong>, so you could last forever in it.<\/p><p data-path-to-node=\"14\">I enjoyed my time there until <strong>sunset<\/strong>. It was a truly beautiful sunset. Indeed, it was.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-17947a9 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"17947a9\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Good night, frogs.<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3bceffa elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3bceffa\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p data-path-to-node=\"16\">After sunset, I came home, took a shower, had dinner, and then just went to bed. The day in the sun had pretty much ruined me.<\/p><p data-path-to-node=\"17\">Already on my way <strong>welcomed by whistlers<\/strong> and they didn&#039;t disappoint. They&#039;re everywhere and they won&#039;t shut up at all. So on purpose, <strong>Which of us will give up first?<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element
